Please be assured, readers, that I haven't replaced Jesus with a mere mortal. "God" is in fact the nickname given to Burke by his Newcastle fans, when he played in England. Love Burke's career as I did, I can still acknowledge him as less than a deity. He's not the Messiah. He a very awesome fullback.
It is, however, a great delight that I get to "Bring Back the Burke" to my rather insignificant blog.
