No, this is not a reference to the "Vegetales" animation on Moses and the Exodus from Egypt.
This Moe is a chimp, who has such impeccible table manners and personal hygiene that he was best man at his owner's wedding, and also shared the marital bed!
This is definately a link to read. Make sure you find out about the wrath the two other chimps unleashed on Moe's ex-owners, when they crashed the party and didn't get a slice of cake at Moe's birthday bash! They went to town on some very unusual party food.
This is definately one of those, "Only in America" stories.
