The SCG is in the pink.

Make sure, if you're heading out to day three of the rather disappointing test match vs Pakistan in Sydney, that you don the pink, in honour of Jane McGrath, and to support the McGrath Foundation, Glenn and their kids.
Since Jane's loss, the Foundation has teamed up with the SCG Trust to fundraise, to ensure more Breast Care Nurses are available to help Breast Cancer patients, and their families.
My father in law died quickly and traumatically when he was diagnosed with inoperable cancers. The Baird Institute funds research into making cardiothorasic surgery more efficient, to ensure better outcomes for patients and families.
Both of these cases aim to bring some good out of horrible situations, where people, who have been desperately adored, have been stolen from our lives by this horrible illness, which creeps into lives, destroying so much.
My father is currently undergoing his second round of Chemo and Radiotherapy in order to shrink the tumour than is choking his oesophagus, caused by 50 years of cigarette smoking. He is one of the lucky cancer patients. He has no secondaries.
But in the meantime, honour Jane, wear pink, and protect yourself from the sun.
