Wacko! More Made-Up Religions have their day in court.

From Scientology and beyond, there are lots of very odd interpretations of what makes the world go round. Unfortunately within Christianity, there are still those in this post Reformation world, who choose not to submit to the Bible's authority, but prefer to "choose their own adventure", and use their "beliefs" as a means of personal gain and the exploitation of others.
This one is particularly sickening:
Really Long Link
But then there's just the plain nuts!
Really Long Link
Unfortunatly, as with any sin, we hurt ourselves and those around us by choosing to do things our way instead of God's. We have the audacity to think that we know better than the Creator. However, we don't.
How many of us have bought a mobile phone or other piece of technology, and not managed to use all of the features because they haven't read the instruction manual? Or purchased an expensive piece of state-of-the-art technology, and stuffed it in the installation process because we tried to do it ourselves, rather than trusting the manufacturer's guidelines? We rip ourselves off, hurt ourselves and others, and sometimes make a total disaster of things when we, in our arrogance, think we can do things our way.
In the latter case, thank God this woman didn't kill anyone when thinking she could ignore the laws that said she wasn't to drive. I recall Jesus telling some Pharisees, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's".
In the case of the former; may God bring healing to the victims, assurance that "if God is for us, who can be against us" which leads to no fear of black magic, curses or any other form of evil, and above all, justice. May those who give Jesus a bad name be held accountable.
